〒534-0021 Osaka, Miyakojima Ward, Miyakojimahondori, 3 Chome−16−3 パルハイツ01 / ABOUT THE PLACE
At lunchtime, CAFE JIN’s spice curry stands out for its colourful assortment of vegetables. Visitors have described plates topped with carrots, okra, red cabbage achar, mizuna, aubergine and pumpkin, making the vegetables an appealing part of the meal alongside the curry. Another diner noted the sweetness of the cooked onions, generous pieces of aubergine, pumpkin and sweet potato, and tangy pickles, enjoying the contrast as they alternated between the vegetables and the spiced curry.
The lunch menu also lists Thai curry, keema curry, taco rice, honey mustard pork and meat doria. One diner found the spice curry milder than expected, while the Thai curry had a stronger heat—useful to bear in mind when choosing. Listed lunch prices are 900 yen for a dish on its own, 1,100 yen with a drink, and 1,400 yen with dessert and a drink.
For after lunch, there are approachable regular coffees and chai, as well as specialty coffees described by origin and flavour. Colombia Supremo Cleopatra, for example, is said to suggest almond, dark chocolate and caramel, with a profile that also pairs well with milk. Ethiopia Moka Yirgacheffe is described as fruity, with a lemon-tea-like flavour, while Brazil Dolce Chocolada is noted for its balance of bitterness and sweetness. The listed cakes include spice chiffon, fondant au chocolat and rare cheesecake. One visitor who enjoyed the spice chiffon with coffee remembered its cinnamon flavour and soft, airy texture.
Whether you come for a substantial lunch or a quiet pause over coffee and cake, there are different food and drink combinations to consider.
